Senior Investigations Engineer (IT and Systems)

We currently help identify and scope capital programmes of work in transport and three waters exceeding $80 million a year and manage operational activities of more than $20 million per year - help us work smarter to scope, deliver, operate and maintain these critical services to achieve best value for our customers.

 Deciding on project priorities and operating and maintaining roading and three waters services efficiently and effectively requires a lot of data capture, analysis, investigation, research, planning and prioritisation to ensure the right projects are selected and the maintenance and operational activities are optimised. We are looking for someone with significant experience in capturing, analysing and translating data into intelligence as well as optimising engineering assessment and prioritisation processes to deliver improved customer outcomes for less.

You’ll need to be innovative, and keen to help us use IT to improve productivity, decision making, and customer outcomes. Using your long-term strategic planning skills, you will optimise the performance of our current roading and three water services, as well as be involved in planning and delivery of initiatives for long term improvement.  It will take careful research and analysis to ensure that you’re recommending the best option.

To achieve the best outcomes, you will need to liaise with a variety of stakeholders. You’ll put your excellent verbal and written communication skills to good use, to ensure everyone is on the same page and focused on achieving the overall goal.
