This role will really test what you are made of.  You'll get involved in everything from challenging litigations, to facilitating dialogue on complex applications to come to a resolution. You will really have to be on your game to ensure that there is a fair and reasonable outcome.  It also goes without saying that you will share your knowledge by taking an active role in mentoring and coaching the rest of the team.

  
With the responsibility for ensuring that the Planning division has the capability and capacity to meet legislative requirements, you'll be using and further enhancing your coaching and delegation skills.  You'll also have the added challenge of ensuring that the team work in a proactive and customer focused manner.
