As recent winners of Local Government excellence awards Palmerston North City Council (PNCC) is on a quest to find marketing experts that will blaze a trail of success, be self-motivated and innovative in marketing strategies, tactics and content delivery. You will have top notch critical thinking skills, a can-do attitude and a customer service approach to our PNCC units as a campaign and brand advisor.

Take on the challenge of leading campaign development and execution for a diverse portfolio of campaigns that showcase and engage residents in many of Council’s most important projects and events.  You will utilise the most effective and efficient owned/earned and paid marketing channels and tools to achieve the best possible outcomes for our customers and city.  As the Marketing Advisor, you will look to breakthrough and engage target audiences in new ways while managing to budget, brand and regulatory guidelines. In this fast-paced role, you’ll be an excellent project manager and communicator. A can-do attitude and determination to see projects through and completed on time and on budget is essential. You’ll be a data driven marketer who strives to measure success and continuously improve our marketing approach.

Drug and Alcohol Testing

As part of the Council's Management Team Drug and Alcohol Policy, to ensure the safety of those who come into contact with Council, applicants for employment in safety sensitive positions must undergo a drug test before being employed.
